Our Objectives

The role of the Federation of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is to get SMEs join the Federation, to represent them within it, to ensure they benefit (and perceive themselves to benefit) from membership and to ensure that their membership strengthens the position of the Chamber as representing Central Govt, State Government.

1). Promote and propagate the Government Schemes and policies

2). Provide linkages with bankers and financial institutions

3). Impart skills for the development of entrepreneurs.

4). Create awareness on entrepreneurship among students and potential entrepreneurs.

5). Encouraging SMEs to join the Chamber and take part in Federation and SME activities, and communicating the capabilities and aims of the Federation to SME's (e.g. New Member events);
6). Providing SMEs with support and a voice within the Federation, and externally through liaison with governmental and other bodies (e.g. representation on/advice to General Committee; responses to external surveys on SME matters);
7). Providing SMEs with a forum to interact with the Federation members, its executive and administration.
